Led by The Blackboard Artist’s Michael Tilley, you’ll get taught the raw basics on how to measure and layout blackboards, how to use different materials, tricks of the trade and illustration demos throughout the day.

There is a maximum of 12 spots per day. What’s included? At the start of the day you’ll be given a free tote bag of materials and you’re very own blackboard. You’ll also be served a delicious lunch from the famous Brick Lane Bagels – accompanied by homemade flapjacks and brownies (gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available)!

This course was really helpful and I use the skills I've learnt every time when creating my boards! The space we were in was comfortable and a pleasure to work in. Mike is a lovely guy, very friendly and approachable and I found his advice to be spot on. Lunch was delicious and the coffee was great. We all received a goody bag to take home which enables you to practice everything you've learnt that little bit easier, all in all a wonderful day. Would recommend to anyone new to blackboard art, someone looking to improve on their techniques or even a blackboard nut looking to meet like-minded people. 10/10!
