1 Hotel, known for its global presence across North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, opened its newest location in the heart of Mayfair, London, in 2023.

Situated near Green Park, the hotel emphasizes sustainability and green space, featuring over 1,300 individual plants, shrubs, and trees throughout its grounds. With a wellness spa, a signature cocktail bar, a lobby café and the Dovetale restaurant, 1 Hotel Mayfair offers a variety of events catering to all age groups. To compliment their eco-friendly aesthetic, 1 Hotel worked with us to create hand-painted signage that aligns with their brand ethos. Our collaboration began with the hotel’s opening and continues on a monthly basis.

To enhance 1 Hotel’s guest experience, we created a visually striking reception board that prominently displays monthly events, using a clear colour scheme for easy readability. For the meeting rooms, we crafted elegant blackboards with plant illustrations, hung on jute rope, to signal when rooms are in use.

We also provided table-top boards, including one with a hand-painted QR code at reception, and a bespoke A1 a-board with double-sided artwork to guide guests to the Dovetale restaurant. Lastly, we designed a large blackboard in the ‘Neighbours’ café to display menus that transition from day to night. Our attention to detail resulted in functional, aesthetically pleasing signage that works with the hotel’s eco-friendly theme, much to 1 Hotel’s satisfaction.
